Caroline Mandler, Translator

After falling in love with the French language at a young age, Caroline has continued her studies both in and out of the classroom. She has lived in France several times, including an enriching study abroad experience in Paris. She holds a BA {summa cum laude} in French and Linguistics from Lawrence University and an MSc in Translation Studies from the University of Edinburgh. Caroline is also proficient with SDL Trados and other CAT tools, and has experience in project management as well as translating for the financial, marketing, hospitality, and mining sectors.

Adrienne Chambers, Translator

A passion for language and the written word led Adrienne to graduate with Honors degrees in both French and English literature from Georgetown College.  She pursued these interests with great vigor, working for eight months in France before moving to the University of Edinburgh to complete her MSc in Translation Studies.  The proverbial travel bug has well and truly left its mark upon her: having studied abroad at both Oxford University and Harvard Summer School in Paris as an undergraduate, she also spent some time working in Ireland as a translation project manager after receiving her postgraduate degree.  As a result, Adrienne most enjoys translating material relating to tourism, culture, travel, and sport, and she maintains an abiding love for literature in both languages.
